What is the US Hemp Roundtable?

What is the US Hemp Roundtable?

The US Hemp Roundtable is an independent, nonprofit coalition with offices in Lexington, Kentucky, and Washington, DC. They are committed to engineering a safe future for hemp and CBD-related markets. Furthermore, US Hemp Roundtable members – which includes CBD Choice! – have vowed to create a safer hemp industry together. What standards are worthy of the US Hemp Roundtable certification?

  • Offering only hemp and CBD products that have been third-party lab tested. Third-party lab testing allows you to know exactly what’s inside your CBD products.
  • Collaborating only with brands, companies, and individuals who are in the hemp industry for the right reasons. We’re here to better the world, not just make money.
  • Educating consumers on everything they need to know about hemp and CBD products. Through education comes acceptance. Through acceptance comes comprehensive government regulations, a goal of the US Hemp Roundtable.

In addition, the US Hemp Roundtable acts as an intermediary between the government and the people on all things hemp. As stated on their website, they are responsible for:

  • Providing hemp and CBD-related education to elected officials and policymakers.
  • Keeping consumers informed on the latest industry updates.
  • Empowering US citizens to join the fight in support of safe hemp and CBD policies.

The US Hemp Roundtable certification has become the gold medal of the CBD industry. Companies bearing this accomplishment have met the rigorous standards set by the Roundtable. Because of this, they are one of the few nonprofit organizations willing to fight for hemp legislation in the US.

What if your state’s not on this list? There are always ways to get involved and help campaign for both federal and state hemp legislation. You can contact the US Hemp Roundtable directly by emailing info@hempsupporter.com.

Leading Hemp Education in the United States

The US Hemp Roundtable does more than just push political policy. In fact, they drive education initiatives as well! They aim to teach everyone the power of hemp and CBD products. In fact, our CBD blog is our way of supporting this initiative. As we mentioned earlier: through education comes acceptance.

Believe it or not, there is still a lot to be done for hemp and cannabis legislation in the US. Until our industry is completely safe, legal, and available to all, cannabis-related education will remain as important as ever. At CBD Choice, we throw our full support behind the Roundtable because they’ll create a better, brighter cannabis future for all of us.
