LAB-TESTED CBD

Supercritical CO2 Extraction has been proven the safest and most effective method for extracting CBD from cannabis. It works like this:
- Gaseous CO2 is subjected to high pressure and low temperature, turning it into a liquid
- This liquid is then reheated and pressurized – Known as a “supercritical” state
- Supercritical CO2 exhibits properties of both a gas and a liquid – It maintains volume like a gas but with a fluid density
- Raw cannabis plants are placed in a chamber and then subjected to this supercritical CO2
- The supercritical CO2 dissolves the trichomes of the plant, capturing any active compounds, CBD included
The reason this extraction method is so vital to CBD production is because CO2 is nonvolatile, nonflammable and easy to control. Other methods of extraction make use of solvents that can contaminate CBD.
Such solvents include butane, ethanol and acetone. You can also find these ingredients in gasoline, hand sanitizer and plastic.
We don’t want these chemicals anywhere near our CBD, so it’s best to avoid any products not made using Supercritical CO2 Extraction.
PESTICIDE-FREE CBD
Pesticides are chemicals sprayed on crops to kill anything from insects to fungus to bacteria. However, pesticides have a long history of incurring human illness and are inherent of inorganic farming practices.
