Everyday CBD Snacks

Everyday CBD Snacks

CBD is one of the most versatile and enjoyable botanicals out there. There's no end to the ways to enjoy CBD, and it can fit into and improve virtually any lifestyle.

But sometimes, the same old CBD products lose their allure. And at times like those, there's nothing like some edible CBD snacks to spice up your routine.

This article shines the spotlight on some of our favorite CBD treats, from sweet snacks to CBD cooking you can use to infuse your favorite dishes with a healthy dose of high-quality CBD.

A Note On Edible CBD Potency

If you have experience with other CBD products, you've probably found a dosage that works for your needs. But if you're swapping from another CBD product (like an oil or a vape) to edible CBD, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

First off, edible CBD takes longer before you start feeling its effects. That's because your body takes time to digest the food in which the CBD is infused, which delays the onset.

Next, edible CBD has lower bioavailability than other product types. That means that your body will be able to absorb a little less of your dose. It won't be a huge difference, but consider upping the CBD dosage you take compared to what you would with a traditional CBD oil.

PureKana CBD Honey Sticks

Make life a bit sweeter with PureKana's CBD-infused honey sticks. Whether you add these delicious CBD honey sticks to your favorite food or beverage or just enjoy it on its own, there are few ways to take your daily dose of CBD that are more enjoyable than this.

Each stick of honey comes packed with 10mg of pure CBD, perfect for adding to your coffee, tea, or smoothie in place of a traditional sweetener. For CBD connoisseurs and newcomers alike, this might just be the most enjoyable way of taking CBD. Available in three delicious flavors, original honey, chocolate mint, or raspberry, there's even a taste for every palate.

CBDfx CBD Vegan Protein Cookie

CBD baked goods are a classic, delicious way to get your daily dose. Now, with CBDfx's Vegan Protein Cookie, you can get in on the CBD goodness, no matter your dietary restriction!

There are three delicious flavors available: classic chocolate chip, creamy peanut butter, and (my personal favorite) oatmeal raisin. And considering that each of these delicious, CBD-infused cookies has 13g of protein, and it's a healthy snack that doesn't need to weigh you down! These are a crowd-favorite in the world of edible CBD snacks, and it's easy to see why.

CBD Living Chocolate

When I think of indulgent snacks, chocolate is very high on the list. So it's no surprise that a number of CBD manufacturers have started offering rich, smooth, CBD-infused chocolate bars. For my money, CBD Living's Milk Chocolate bar is the king of the heap.

It's perfect for breaking off and enjoying all on its own, but you can also use it for cooking, melt it in coffee, or use small chunks to make your own CBD trail mix! It's an incredibly tasty CBD snack that, with a little imagination, can help you add CBD to your diet in a thousand different ways.

CBD Gummies

Gummies are, by far, the most popular and widely available edible CBD snacks. Virtually every brand has CBD gummies of their own, and it's easy to find some that fit your flavor preferences.

If you ask me, there's simply no beating GoGreen Hemp's CBD Peach Rings. These treats are a true confectionary delight — sweet, savory, and packed with juicy peach flavor that will satisfy even the most discerning of sweet tooths. Obviously, not everyone enjoys the same sweets — but if you enjoy traditional peach rings? Hoo-boy, are you in for a pleasant experience. These offer up the same distinctive, rich, and juicy flavor as traditional peach rings — but with just the faintest hint of hemp's rich taste. Seriously, these pack a potent juicy punch that you won't be able to get enough of.

DIY Edible CBD Snacks: Cooking With CBD Coconut Oil

Longtime readers may have noticed: I'm a BIG fan of using CBD coconut oil in my recipes. It's one of the simplest, fastest ways of infusing a dish with a heaping dose of full-spectrum CBD!

Even better, cooking with coconut oil is an extremely healthy alternative to cooking with other cooking fats (like butter). Here's how to do it:

  1. Take your favorite recipe and identify the source of fat it calls for (usually butter).
  2. Figure out how much CBD you'd like to add to your dish; it's useful to think about the CBD per serving rather than just total CBD.
  3. Figure out how much CBD coconut oil you need to achieve that dosage (a little goes a long way, this stuff is potent).
  4. On a 1:1 basis, swap out your recipe's fat for the CBD coconut oil.

For example, let's say I have a dish that calls for 8 teaspoons of butter. If I wanted to add 100mg of CBD to a dish, I'd add about 2 teaspoons of CBD coconut oil, reduce the butter in the recipe by the same amount, and simply add the remainder (in this case, 6 teaspoons of butter).

I really can't recommend Lazarus Naturals CBD Coconut Oil enough. It is, simply put, the single most versatile CBD product I've found, and it is without doubt the one that I use the most.

CBD Snacks, In Closing

These are a few of our absolute favorite edible CBD snacks, but there's far more out there. From sweet to savory and everywhere in between, there's a CBD treat for every palate — and every occasion.

Of course, when it comes to food, creativity is the name of the game. With a bit of imagination, virtually any dish can be turned into a delicious, tailor-fit CBD delicacy.

Going camping? Why not turn your CBD chocolate bar into some CBD smores? Looking for a morning pick-me-up? CBD Coconut Oil fits the bill perfectly.
